flash (macromedia): Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm running into problems with deleting
points within my symbols. I have been trying to optimize symbols and sometimes
when I select points in my symbols and hit delete it works fine but other times
it deletes all the paint. Does anybody know why this happens?

if u double click within ur symbol..both the object and its outline will be
selected...if u press delete ...the whole object will disappear...

if you click once on a part of a symbol..only that part will be
highlighted...thus pressing delete will only delete that section...

thanks for the help Jimmy Mc, but that isn't really what I meant...sorry I
wasn't more clear. When I am within a symbol and using the subselection
tool(white arrow) to select individual points, sometimes I can delete
individual points without a problem but other times it will delete everything
and I can't figure out why.
