flash (macromedia): Hi Folks

If anyone has the time could they have a brief look at the attachment and tell
me why my preloader works only in the Flash - simulated download session but
not on the web

I use one swf that contains a preloader - and does nothing other than load the
main swf.

I have looked at numerous tutorials on the matter and listened to the comments
of other folk answering these forums. Many have suggested that one swf should
be used as I mentioned above but still when I run it on line it appears not to
work

Any suggestion would be appreciated

What I see is the preloader flash though and then there is a pause before the
animation loads. Here at work we have broadband so the delay is not too bad but
at home (I hate to admit) I still am on dial up and I find the preloader
flashes through, dissapears and then there is a perceptable wait until the mc
loads.

As I mentioned, in the test in Flash it is all fine but on the web??? I have a
number of flash pieces tat do the same.

Ah!, how I long for those wonderful preloaders one sees on the funky flash
sites
