HELP!! I have been stuck for weeks ching85

flash (macromedia): I added an mp3 to a site which was created by someone else, using an earlier
version of Flash. I saved the mp3 in the library and dragged it into one of the
pages, then published it, but when I ftp the files up, log out and test by
visiting the site, it asks for a password. I did not have access to the
original Flash files; I downloaded the html folder from the site, made the
changes, then published and uploaded the page.
How can I resolve this? I've been told it sounds like a permission on the file
needs to be reset, but I cannot view the file permissions of the files while
they are on the ftp site, and the permissions on these files after I downloaded
them seem to match the permissions of what I'm uploading.

Wired, never seen before.
Maybe something on your server not the file.
