Import .AVI into Flash MX 2004 with high bitrate

Import .AVI into Flash MX 2004 with high bitrate computerpain

flash (macromedia): Howdy,
I am importing an .avi file into my Flash MX 2004 project that will be
published on CDROM. Flash is being used because of compatibility issues... my
company does not want users to have to install any plugins. With a 16X CDROM I
can have video at a rate of near 2,400KB/s. So I want to make use of that
bandwith.

When I try to import a video into Flash, is there any way to import a video at
a higher bitrate then 700KB/s? That is as high as it seems to go.

Also what are KeyFrames for when importing video into Flash MX 2004? Does it
increase picture quality? Does it make a smaller file size?

Thanks,
Computerpain

Flash simply isn't up to running video this heavy. Use Director. As you are
distributing on CD there will be no compatibility issues - you simply
publish as a Projectore, as you can with Flash content distributeed via CD.
