I'm working in OS 10.4.

I have 2 wsdl's listed in my web services panel. On opening the web services
panel, it processes the wsdl's and then hangs on the last one, forcing me to
force quit out of flash.

I unwittingly set the web services panel to be open when you open flash... The
app hangs before you can even ever open a fla/flp... So effectively I can't
open Flash 8 at all. I've tried reinstalling to no availing.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

First try deleting the prefs file (I think it's at
users:<username>:Library:Preferences:Flash 8 Preferences). 1

Then delete:
Users:<username>:Library:Application Support:Macromedia:Flash 8

Reboot, restart Flash 8 and see what happens.

Never hurts to repair permissions too..
