Hi, can anyone recommend any tips for optimizing the filesize of my SWFs.

there are a lot of ways to optimize the filesize, the first thing to do would
allway be to look for the thing that make it too big in the first place with
the "Generate size report" option.

And then depending on what part is to big (usuali sounds, bitmaps, and fonts,
or imported videos/animations) you woulf try to optimitze them.

The comercial optimizers might do well in some special cases, but mostly you
will be way better off hand-optimizing. But it is a question of pride in
craftsmanship.
