flash (macromedia):
I created an SWF file with sound. Then from another fla project I imported it
into library. But now that new symbole has no sound. It works otherwise. Not
sure why the imported swf file doesn't play its sounds. Any clues?

Import of SWF does not support buttons, labels, sounds, actions, layers, movie clips,
shape tweens, motion tweens etc.. etc..
It's the way it works.
You need source FLA to move content from one library to another.

Open the fla and right away the library CTRL L
than open the second fla and again the library.
You should be able to see two libraries in the same time
and simply drag drop items from one to another w/o problem.

Thanks. That makes sense. I'm a little dissappointed that none of the books
I had mentioned it. The help on mm was no help on this either. Again thanks
for clearing this matter for me. I do have the source fla so it should not be
a problem to get the original symbole.
