I think you want to use the MovieExplorer and goto customize and select
Frames.

If you right mouse over the timeline layer names, you can select Expland All
Folders

I am working on a site, and I have each area organized in a folder. I need
to
have the timeline take up as little space as possible, so I'm wondering if
there is any way to show the keyframes that exist on the layers within the
closed folsers space along the timeline.

thanks
