Hi,
I have a connection to a database. I can populate textfields within
movieclips... but this is where the fun starts... If i use a mask on one of
the movieclips, the textfield that previously showed my populated value from
the database no longer shows. I have tried removing the mask and the field
populates as normal.
So whats the secret for showing textfields when their embeded within a
movieclip that is masked?

It's a common question here. Timeline masking requires that you embed
the text characters being used characters in the swf. -Tom Unger
