Play Out Movie Clip

First time post here!! so hopefully you can help me out ;) I have been trying
to figure out how I cam Play Out a Movie Clip when a link is clicked on to load
another movie clip.

For example when I click on a link that links to another movie clip it will
play out the current movie clip and then play the movie clip that was clicked
on.

OK my problem is how can I get the current movie clip to play out (kind of
like when it?s playing in, but out) and then continue or go to the next movie
clip link?

Here is a link and hopefully you get what I mean, I know it?s a bad
description but I don?t really know the correct name for that function.

I know exactly what you mean!
I tried to figure it out myself for a long time.
Eventually someone directed me to this tutorial and i used the same principles
for how do my sites now.
