leading / line spacing

flash (macromedia):
Has anyone else had this issue? I've got a static text box, apply a 2pt line
spacing and it looks fine in the design environment. I publish it for Flash 8
(doesn't matter what version for this problem) and it reverts to 0 line
spacing. If I copy that text into a NEW static text box and publish, it will
hold the line spacing when published. So I'm most likely going to have to
recreate all these text boxes that for some reason got corrupted. My reason for
posting is that I've seen this happen a few times and want to figure out what
I'm doing wrong. I've consulted the Flash MX 2004 Bible (even though I'm on
Flash Pro 8) as well as the "Help" and haven't found answers to this, so I
thought maybe the Flash community would be able to answer it.

My assumption is that in a STATIC text box (not dynamic, I realize that's a
different bird) you can:
1. Use more than one font size
2. Use more than one font
3. Use more than one line spacing (as in making that extra paragraph return a
bit smaller line spacing)
4. Use more than one color in your font(s)
5. Use a link in the copy

If I'm wrong on any of these assumptions, please let me know. The funny thing
is that it usually works. And then it doesn't for no reason I can see. Any help
would be appreciated.

I think I figured it out, so I'll post the answer in case someone has this
problem as well. Assumption #5 is incorrect. You can NOT put a link the in the
copy box AND choose a custom line spacing. Even if you take the link out, it
won't let you adjust line spacing until you have deleted that text box and
started a new one.
