flash (macromedia):
Tween looks fine. It depends on how you constructed frame 11. It appears you
may have rotated the shape.

Shape tweens are for vectors. I like to think that they are for morphing
vectors.

Motion tweens for everything else.

You can tween a shape as a motion tween by making the shape on a Graphic
symbol and tweening the graphic symbol.

But if you need to "redraw" the shape, then a shape tween is needed.

Finally if the shape does not "redraw" as intended you may need shape hints.

Hi

I have a very simple shape tween which lasts 11 frames. If you check
keyframes
1 and 11 you will understand what should happen in between. Surprisingly,
Flash
manages to do something really complex which is not the intended tween.

Why does this happen???
Is there a way to directly deal with this or in such cases more tweens or
motion tweens are required???

You can download the fla file from http://www.danias.net/shapetween.zip

I know all this. What I was not aware of was the existance of shape hints.

Thanks
