flash (macromedia): Hey people,

I am creating this interactive pixel community.....

anyway, I have 2 files, one has a welcome screen then a scrollpane with the
contents of map.swf.

map.swf has a whole map. when you click on a building in the map, it opens a
new scene and frame with information about the building.....

the map is rather large and that is why i used a scrollpane, to scroll the
map....

but...when you scroll down a little, and click on a building, the scroll
positions are in the same place, meaning that the text in the next scene,
frame...is out of the screen a little and needs to be viewed proparly by moving
the scroll bars......

anyway....i need help, so that when ever you click a link in the contentpath,
it refreshes the state of the scroll bars...

or....i need help to open a window with this information in so people can
click on the building and produce a new window which can be closed......

thanks

please help even a little...

dom

To move the scroll bars you can use ScrollPane.hPosition and ScrollPane.vPosition.

Just click Help > Flash Help for the best reverence for flash components.

If you still have problems then post the source of what you?re working on. It
is hard to give a clear answer since there are so many different ways of doing
it. It depends on the particularities of the project.
