Subscript failure in static text field

flash (macromedia): Hi guys, I have some subscript text in a static text field. It looks fine in
Flash but once published it no longer works. I understand that subscript does
not work in dynamic or input text, but as this is static I can't understand
what's happening. I have tried using both Device Fonts and not. I am using
Flash MX 2004. Please help.
