flash (macromedia):
I am using Flash 5 and was wondering if it is possible to use "shape tweening"
to change the shape of a .gif or .jpg image. You can respond to this post or
contact me at -----hajibaba@stny.rr.com-----and put morph in the subject so I
just won't delete it. Thank you. Hajibaba

hit F1 and search help docs - entire section devoted to shape tweening and it states that shape
tweening only works with shapes - or just try it yourself and see that it wont "moph" - flash does
not morph anything - for a true morph you need a program that has an actual "morph" feature.

the only way with flash alone is to trace bitmap the photos and apply tween - but if images are
complex it can easily create a much larger file size and very processor intensive movie and the
shape tween will implode due to too much vector data. you may find a way but i think you are simply
trying to get flash to do something it was never designed to do with bitmaps. if you pull it off i
would love to see it.
you can always alpha fade with motion tween one image over the other.
