Hi, I'm creating an SWF movie to play within another application, though when I
select the text in the SWF and select copy it copies the SWF and not the text
within the SWF.

Therefore I need to create a button which will copy the text which I've
selected within the SWF movie. Can anyone offer an suggestions, I'm completely
new to ActionScript and Flash after using Director for 5 years.

Basically I'm embedding the SWF into a Smart Notebook file (the whiteboard
software). So I need to be able to copy the text from the runtime, though as I
said, you can copy if you are running the SWF within Flash player, though in
notebook it simply copies the SWF in the same way as it may copy an image.

So to answer your question, I need this to run in the runtime. I have enabled
selectable text, I just need to know what code should run to copy the selected
text to the system clipboard.

Thanks,
Mark
