After looking through out the Macromedia forum it is interest that there has
not been a response to a question regarding importing .FLV files in Flash 8
that several people have.
The problem is that for some reason after importing a video file (.FLV) into a
DEVELOPED site and then testing the movie, the video does not appear at all or
plays. All the necesary steps were taken to import the .flv file.
Exactly the same steps were taken importing the file into a new developing
site and it tested, worked, and streamed fine.
So problem = Importing a .flv file to a developed .fla file does not work but
it works when importing a .flv to an new .fla file
Does anybody knows why???????????????
As I wrote several people have the same problem that I have. If there is
anybody out there that recognises the problem and has a solution. Your help
will be greatly appreciated.
