Calm down Trey help has arrived I'm going to give you a template for a great
preloader. All you have to do is copy the two frames from the template into
scene 6 and then drag scene 6 to the top of the list in your scene panel. You
can adjust the graphics as you like as well as the text. You can really get
creative with this preloader. Download it at :

i noticed that you have 99 frames ( 100 ) for the progress bar...ive made the
preloader for my site - it is 200 frame's--i added the progress bar to it - do
i need to condense the frame's to 100... right now when i play it keep's
looping...

Hi Rick,

I am also trying to integrate the preloader you have so very graciously
preovided us. :) I have been trying to find a preloader that actually works
for some time now. I like the fact that yours loads first over the actually
movie, nice and simple - you just include it with each flash movie you create.
I need a little help, though.

I have a single scene movie about 450k compressed (scene 1), so I copied the
two frames from your template into scene # 2 of my movie, and moved this scene
to the top of my scene panel. Unfortunately I never see the progress bar
advance when testing the movie - I see the preloader blink only briefly (and
also way below my stage export area) and it shows "100%". I have exported the
whole thing as an .swf and previewed it in IE6 with a clear cache, so I don't
know why I don't see it working properly. Any ideas, Thanks a lot. Brian

Rick, never mind about the "also below my stage export area" - just figured
that one out. Everthing else seems to be working, but it just flashes 100%.
Is that because it is only 450k and grabbing the .swf from my local hard drive?
Thanks again.

I'm receiving a 404 when I go to that address. Is it still out there to get a hold of?

Thanks,
