Hello, I am having difficulty in installing Macromedia Flask. I removed all
toolbars closed all open progs, when I press Download within two seconds it
say's sucessful installation with a moving oblong. No gold bar appears for
option to install an active X neither does a movie appear with text as
suggested by the installation instructions. I would appreciate any help.
My O/S is Windows XP SP2 Packard Bell imedia 5061 Thank you.

Sorry Chris, should have made it clearer. Although it say's it has installed it
would appear it hasn't.
If I look in Control panel, Macromedia is there but has no date or size
against it.
Is there any where I could test it to see if it is working?

if you are looking for flash 8 content to test...try this:

it is a flash 8 movie because it uses flash 8 filters.

Thanks so much Chris. I used the standalone link which I installed and then
downloaded the Flash player, this time the gold box came up which I allowed the
active X.
However, In the Control panel no date or size is displayed, so perhaps this is
normal, but it has changed from player 7
to player 8 so it looks promising.
All I need now is something to try it out on. Many thanks for your help.
