I know that there has to be a fairly simple way of doing this. But, I am
drawing a blank. What I am trying to do is display 3-4 different photographs
(as is they were actual photos arranged on a desk - overlapping each other).
When you mouse over a photo - that photo would be displayed as if it were on
top. An example of these can be found here :

I think that I have this one figured out. Basically I have created 3 different
images in Photoshop that will occupy the same spot. In each of the three
variations, I have the appropriate image in the foreground. Using an
invisible button on each of the photos that are in the image, I am just
replacing the appropriate photo on a mouseover event. I hope this makes sense.

That is very clever, but will not be very flexible if you decide to change the
pictures and of course it will require more load time for your file. So you
might want to look into swapDepths(). Check it out and post back if you have a
hard time getting it to work for you.
