I have a logo, which I want to make it move, but I also want to learn as I go.
So, I took the logo which has three basic elements. I want to be able to make
those elements move indepenently. I would like to know what kind of document to
create and how to import images. Any help or pointers in the right direction
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

durilai,

There's not a whole lot to it, so that should encourage you. If you're
drawing your logo in Flash, convert each of the three basic elements as its
own graphic symbol. If you're importing, use File > Import and convert each
imported image as its own graphic symbol. If you need imported images to
contain areas of transparency, use the PNG file format.

Create three layers, one for each symbol. The three layers are required
for moving each element independently. Open your documentation (F1 key) and
look up frames and keyframing, since you'll be using keyframes to mark the
moments of change. Look up tweening, too, since you'll tween the frames
between your keyframes.

Some of the tutorials here may help you get your bearings.
