flash (macromedia) : Inserting flash movie/navigation in web page...

Hi all, I am doing some freelance work for a local web design firm in town.
Within each html page is a flash movie that has navigational buttons in it as
well. I dont know flash well enough to create elaborate navigation but I do
know the timeline and have made simple photo fade movies for my own sites...
The flash folder he gave me (another designer created the flash stuff) with
everything in it has 4 different .fla files, 1 media folder with images, 3
..html files, 2.xml files, and a couple .swf's. I know in dreamweaver I can go
to media>insert flash but is this what I should do? Do I insert more than one
file? Do I insert the .html files/code somewhere? Reason I'm asking is right
now I only inserted one .swf file. When I preview this in browser (safari) it
shows up as just a black box. Then, when I look in the activity window in
safari it says 'loaded with 2 errors'. Errors are: nav.swf - file doesnt exist
and playerMulti.swf - file doesnt exist... Do I also need to create .swf's of
these from the .fla files and insert them as well? Thanks a bunch, David
