flash (macromedia):
hilandrfan,

In both cases, you can leave the sound or image as is. Anything you do
in the Library will be updated automatically throughout your FLA. In fact,
you can even change a given JPG by updating the originaly and re-importing
.... if you had 1,000 instances already on the Stage, they wuold all update
automatically.

If I have a sound clip in the timeline and I then compress the sound in the
library properties, do I need to pull a new version of the clip to the stage?

I have the same question about images. I put them on the stage and then
remembered to change the compression in Flash. I didn't know if I needed to
pull a new instance to the stage, but I did. Did I need to do so?

I was trying to decrease the file size of my swf.

Thanks.
