Howdy! OK ... we built a Flash site, looks pretty good, seems to work just
fine... www.stumptownprinters.com ...BUT ... out clients are telling us
that they are getting 5-6 e-mails and phone calls a week from people who can't
access the site. Why? Is it because it was built in Flash and requires the
Flash 6 plug-in? I'm pretty amazed. I thought at least 95% of browsers we
compatible with Flash 6. Does anyone know the numbers on this? Or have any
ideas about how to make it more accessible?

As of September 2004 it's showing that Flash 6 is compatible with 95.3% of the
world's browsers. But that's Macromedia's statistic. Cool site by the way,
nice design. What I would recommend after looking at it is to Publish it as a
Flash 5 movie. You don't seem to have anything that would make you need to
publish it in 6. After that the only thing you can do is to follow the
instructions on this page:
http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14294 ...or
you can make an HTML version. Good luck!

Thanks for the input! I think, however, that we can't save as Flash 5 becasue we're assigning actions to movie clips ... something that was new in Flash 6.
