flash (macromedia): Hello,
I have got PDF problem... in my Flash Presentation ther is one page with few
links to PDF files.
All links are made as links to files similar to external HTML files... system
is tring autamatically open those PDFs by web browser which is OK... problem is
before it open first PDF it HANGS UP for over 2 minutes ?????

PDF files are OK... they open in few seconds when open straight from foled by
double click.
I use WIN XP and IEXPLORER 6.0.28

I have also checked this problem on few different PSs and this strange
behaving appear on all of them.
I have also tryied to open them with Action Script action inside button... the
same problem.
It looks like when I try to Open PDF file from Flash system open new window of
IE... and hung up for 2 minutes before opening PDF.

Please help.

Try to open up a small size PDF file and see if the problem still exists. If
so then reduce the PDF file size.

.... thanks but this is definitevely not issue with PDF file size... when I try
to make small PDF files... behaving is the same...
and when trying to open those bid PDF Files manually by double-clik in windows
folder problem does not exist... problem appears only when opening them from
Flash Movie

If the different between the time of openning the PDF file from outside flash
and open it through flash which call the browser, I think it is normal, as the
flash button makes the processor call the browser and then the PDF file. That
is what I think.
