flash (macromedia):
you lost me...
did you try embedding the font in that dynamic text field?
from the Properties panel, click the Character... button click, Specfic
range, click Upper, Lower, Numerals and Punctuation

Not all glyphs of font are imported tkaufeld

I have imported a font - Palatino Linotype - into my Flash movie. I am using
this font because it contains subscript and superscript characters. When I use
this font in my dynamic text field, populated with data from a XML file, all
the characters show up EXCEPT the sub/superscript characters. If I don't import
the font and instead just use the machine font <font face='Palatino Linotype'>
the sub/superscript characters show up. I need to use an imbedded font because
the SWF will need to play on both PC's and Mac's and not all machines will have
the font. Any ideas? Tom:confused;

I embedded the font in the movie, not the text field. What I did is was set
myTxtMem.embedFonts = true; and set myTxtMem.htmlText = '<font
face='embeddedFont' size='14' color='#000000'>text string</font> Tom
