anyone have this problem before or know of a solution? I can not add video to a
flash movie and export it. If i try to choose Flash 5 or earlier i get the
warning i posted above. If I use Flash 6 or later i get no error. In both cases
the result is a black movie. If i import this blank movie back into flash i get
nothing but empty frames. It would seem that trying to export as quicktime does
not work. At least i can find no solution.

Having a little trouble exporting Flash as a Quicktime movie. I have imported a
mpeg into Flash and exporting the Flash out as Quicktime. I read the articles
about changing the Flash version to 5, but when i do, i get the following
error, "WARNING: This movie uses features that are not supported in the Flash 5
player". It generates the movie but there is no "video", just a bunch of empty
white frames. I tried to export as Flash 6, i get no error but the frames are
empty as well.

Anyone know what the fix is for this?

thanks in advance

depends on your version od QT. Sounds like you have an old version of
QT? try exporting as Flash 4 if possible.

I on a mac here.

If your making a qt from a flash. Don't use publish, it won't work.

Go to Menu--->File--->Export--->Export Movie

Now a new window will open to were to save the movie and file format.
Under the drop down for file format pick Quicktime Video. If you pick
Quicktime (it's there too) that is right above it (on a mac here) your
screwed again.

Let me know if this works...works on a mac...

Anyone know a solution to this. Still have the same problem. Can not export as
quicktime. If i try to export for flash player 5 i get an error in the output
that features are not supported in version 5 and it generates a blank movie. If
I try to explort as 6 or 7 get no errors in the out put window but it still
generates a blank video.

Right now all im am testing is working with the video, there are no flash
elements in it. I import an mpeg movie and try to export as quicktime.
