Yes. Very.

This guy's work is very nice. It looks like he has a good studio setup
.... professional lights, professional backdrop, and an expensive camera.
This would be very difficult, if not impossible, to do at home with a white
sheet and a video camera from Best Buy.

Use a green screen and import the footage into Premiere or another video
editing program. Play with the adjustments of the green key to get the
proper results. Premeire and After Effects both have pretty good keying
filters for appying such effects. As far as a green screen, you can
purchase them and there are pleanty of tutes on video editing sites about
how to achieve clean and effecient lighting fairly inexpensively. You have
to be very conscious of casting shadows from the subject onto the screen,
which will show up in your final video. This will take practice, but it is
an very valuable tool in your pouch if you plan on doing much video work.
