Flash professional try out version? Joe Mackey

flash (macromedia): I have a full standard version of MX 2004 Which means Flash Standard.

I would like to use the free demo version to see if this cures some of my
problems.
My concern is if I install the demo version will I toast my legal
standard copy I am using now? Do they work and play well with each other?

Thanks
Joe

Huh?
you have the full version you paid for but want to download and install
an additional copy to see if it fixes problems? what problems are you
having? i would try reinstalling your version first to see if it solves
the problems - but ultimately if you must get the download version -
then i would fully uninstall your copy first - but i am not sure about that.

He said he has MX 2004 standard, and wonders if the MX 2004 PRO version
fixes his problems.

Its unlikely, as AFIAK they parts that are sahred are identical .. the Pro
version just has some other features enabled.

Indeed .. when you donwload the trial, you get a version that runs as either
Pro or Standard (it just turns off the stnadard features when used as Pro).

So if there really is a problem, getting the Pro version is extremely
unlikely to fix it, as it would have the same problem.

Reinstalling what you (the standard version) have MAY help, though.

Also, telling us all WHAT your problems are may be a big help as well !! :)
