Hi,

Looking for a solution and wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this. In
my place of work, most of the designers use Macs. The web dept uses PCs
however. When passing files back and forth there are font nightmares. If
we embed the font in the FLA will it go cross platform? Will it remain
editible? Are there better solutions? Just looking for input. Any you
have would be apreciated.

You cannot embed editable fonts in a fla or for that matter in a swf.
I'm sure it is in part because that might violate the font developers
copyright. You can only embed the character outlines in the exported swf,
which is not the same as installing a usable font... -Tom Unger
