Can anyone help me on this important problem?

Two mounths ago I started to work on a project using "Macromedia Flasm MX 2004
Professional" and when I did about %60 of that project - which took a mounth -
and after that I destroyed my windows - which had got too old - and installed a
new fresh one.
After that, I installed the same version of the Flash which I used to use; but
when I want to open those files, it says : "Unexpected Format"!!

It can open the files I had worked in Flasm MX 2003 and older; but not any of
those in Flash MX2004 Pro....
and also the SWF extension of those files still work; but not FLA source
files...

PLEASE somebody help me; a moounth of my work on this project is ruined...

Most likely the file is corrupted. Which usually means beyond recovery.
FLA are very delicate, most of us learned your way to save always at least two copies.
First for the security, second , the fla does not update well it's libraries while saving
so whatever you import and remove will still take the file space even tho it's not there.
by saving as NEW FILE you create new index, making the FLA smaller and most accurate size
to its content. Therefor now and than we save alternate file_01.fla and file_02.fla
I do it every few minutes if I work on large project.

please don't post the same question across multiple forums .. post once in
one forum and give it a change to be answered . then, if you have no success
after a day or two, try another forum then.

Sounds like you've install older Flash over newer one you used before.
