guyon,

Here's Macromedia's own feature comparison list.

Sorenson Squeeze's only purpose is to create video for Flash. I have
Sorenson Squeeze for Flash MX and use it to create both FLVs and SWFs
(mainly FLVs). I do have Flash MX 2004 Pro, and I still needed the pro
version of Squeeze. The reason for this is because Flash Pro's
out-of-the-box version of Sorenson Squeeze is diluted -- it's just weak
compared to the prof Squeeze.

I am working with the standard version of Flash MX 2004 and I started doing a
lot of video work. I want to be able to use flv files so I am trying out
Sorenson Squeeze to create them. This seems to make the video files just fine
and only costs $99 instead of $299. Does Flash Pro have a lot more capabilities
that I am not aware of or would Sorenson Squeeze give me about the same thing?
