flash (macromedia):
yeah - shape tweening in flash is a voodoo science. I hope they fix it
in future versions. for now try shape hints. if they dont work - turn on
onion skin and manually frame-by-frame it - often times it's faster.

Shape Tween Troubles Fumo

I would like to know why Flash arbitrarilly adds more points to my vector line
art if I drop the selection of the line.
For example, I draw a simple kidney-like shape with 4 points. If I was to
create a new instance, by inserting a new keyframe in my line art (on the time
line), Flash would automatically add many points inbetween the spans of the
original vertices. Therefore, my kidney-like shape of 4 points has now become
10+ points. This happens only if my points are Bezier, if linear, this wouldnt
happen.
And when animating a shape tween, and moving points... if I drop the selection
on the line, Flash will add a whole bunch more points, making my job 10 times
HARDER! My simple line becomes complex, and my smooth curves become wobbly.
I swear, if Flash only came with a neck (so I could choke the crap out of it).

Is there a work around... or an OFF BUTTON!!!!
