I have tried everything I can think of to do the following... We have a CD with
a Flash interface that auto opens then within the UI we want to link to a
series of PDFs from within the CD.

Tried a full address =
file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Administrator/My%20Documents/CAUW%20CD/tes
t.pdf
This worked but once on the CD it doesn't...

Tried a get URL and a file name "test.pdf"

Please help!

Use JStart, it will open the pdf file and other files too.

Download a FREE evaluation copy from

http://jstart.flashjester.com

and look at the example files provided.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and
"mental illness."

best bet is too put the pdf online and link to it

you could create your exe using mProjector and then call
mSystem.openDocument
