Hello,

I want to display texts in flash which are loaded from a normal text file.
My problem is that I want to use east europian characters as:ö,ü,é,á,...
But flash displays only small rectangles and not the character itself.

How can I setup flash to display the correct caracters?

Firstly find the charater you require here http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14143

then in the opening frame of your fla add this code

System.useCodepage = true;
