That problem usually happens when the file gets corrupted.. nothing
about how much ram you have. It is a frequent problem for MX2004
version. Previous versions didn't do that (that I know of). In XP,
type CTRL-ALT-DEL to open the task manager. Then Processes tab. Look
at physical memory section. Shows how much total memory, then how
much is available. Load Flash and look again. Then load different
FLA files and see how far the available memory drops down. If you
have a system with that meets the spec for Flash, and you can't load
your project fla file that is not exceedingly big then you probably
have a corrupted fla file.
If that is the case, you may have a previous version you can go back
to. Another possibility is an swf to fla conversion if you made a
good swf before the file got messed up. That is done with swf
decompilers like the one from soThink.com
Other than that, you may need to start over, but this time it will go
much faster because you know what you want to do already. Usually you
will get a better version the 2nd time around anyway. (if you have
time to make it)
good luck,
