flash (macromedia): I am a flash developer. I am looking for a PC laptop that can publish large
fla's (100,000 k) as fast as possible.

So far the most powerful laptops I've been able to find are:

VAIO A series,
Intel Pentium M Processor 760 2.0GHz
5400 RPM

Dell inspiron
Intel? Pentium? M Processor 760 (2 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
7200 RPM

does RPM matter for flash? I also need something that is decent for photoshop.
looking to spend below 4K.
any recommendations?

The most important thing is the CPU, then the memory min 512M I would suggest 1G.

Why don't you check any Mobile AMD Athlon 3700+ systems? They rock.

I think either disk would not be a problem.

i dont like dell
