mmm.... my main puzzle - is how the runner/tennis player etc. move on and off
the screen with quality that is equal to all the images on screen. I would
normall expect there to be a loss of quality in the surrounding imagery.

im beginning to think that the whole page is infact a video clip (well at
least when the people are moving)

They could do it using layered frame by frame images it is quite easy just needs a bit of time.

Nickholl - no most likely you're looking at a set of images which are pieced
together to give the appearance of motion. As for the quality of the images,
they were probably created in an external photo editor and then exported &
imported into flash in png-24 format (this format preserves pixel opacity so
you don't get that white halo around the image caused by anti-aliasing).

mmm... yes for sure the backgrounds are pngs or something. Im just wondering
about the moving people. Yes you're right - they could very well be a sequence
of images -- if bluescreened they could be cut out more easily. BUT its just
the shadows - they're so well done! how could they cut those out and!

and look at the tennis racket when its still - its so blended in with the
background!

thanks for your feedback
