flash (macromedia) : Inserting a sound

:confused;
Once again, harassment from a newbie here. I'm trying to insert a couple of
sounds into my swf and it half works. By "half works" I mean that one sound
that I have inserted works just fine, but the other will not work at all. They
are both .wav files on their own layers and set for event. The only difference
is file size, but I can't believe for one second that this would be a factor. I
have almost no doubt in my mind that I am missing something, but I don't know
what. I'm open to suggestions.

Hello,

The source for a flash document would be the .fla. The .swf could help as a
frame of reference, but it likely won't help _urami identify the problem with
your sound clip.

BTW: Don't let anyone push you around for being a newbie. You paid for the
product like everyone else and deserve to know how to use it. Here is how you
should approach future problems:

1) Check the documentation- most problems are explained already.
2) Check past threads- newbie problems are often answered already.
3) When posting a thread for a problem you feel has not been properly
answered, include all information that could be useful in identifying the
source of your problem. Try not to be vague or use generalizations. See the
forum help area for more tips on posting.

just like 'Have a Banana' said, will need the source FLA file.
(this is a sentence i never imagine I would say)

Sometimes you face some mistake that is too obvious to identify, 3rd party look can spot the
problem much faster, plus it really is easier than explaining.

Best if you uploaded zipped FLA to your server, than provide the URL.
If you don't have any hosting company, try geocities.com for free hosting, you can keep
your forum files there.
