flash (macromedia): Help!

I have an evaluation version of Flash MX 2004 Professional and I'm trying to
import a Windows Media Video (.wmv). When I check the properties of the video
it says the Audio is Version 9.1 and the video codec is Version 9. I also have
a .wmv video that I can import but its properties say that the Audio is using
version 8 and the Video portion is using Version 7. Would this make a
difference. I haven't seen any updates about Codecs for Flash and I have
version 7.2 installed. The video that doesn't load is very large - about 35meg.

Thanks in advance for the help

To be honest you are best converting your .wmv file into an .flv file. This
way you don't have any problems with codecs. .flv files are the mainstay of
flash video - you can convert your original video using the inbuilt converter
in flash mx pro, or use external video converters like Sorenson Squeeze (which
is the recommended software to use). You can find it at :
http://www.sorensonmedia.com/

Hope this helps.
