flash (macromedia): I want to tween from one image to another simulating the blending of two.

Not sure if this is even possible.

I tried breaking apart the images and adding the images to new symbols. When I
tween between them they just switch when at a keyframe. I then tried to
simulate the blending by adding an opacity tween with the images on a different
layer.... but it doesn't blend the images just the opacity of the images.

Have you seen Conan? When he blends the two different people and shows what
their ugly babies will look like. When he does that the images seem to blend
into the resulting baby. That's the type of blend I'm looking for.

Not possible in flash.
Morphing has to be done in some other application. In flash you can only fade it
