flash (macromedia):
I just got these directions. I forgot some of the terminology. Can anyone
extrapolate?
Thanks:
"You can set contentPath to load different FLVs in the instance's
onStatus event handle, where you have the component instance detect
when one FLV completes playing."

I forgot what the content Path was and how id loads a different FLV. I am
doing the media component and loading in the flv by putting the name in it.
Thanks again.

I'm not an expert at it, but have you tried messing with your component
inspector? Also- you can use your behaviors panel to add events to your media
player's instance. If you do not have these behaviors then you may have to
download them at macromedia exchange. Good luck.

If you look up Help ?> Using Components ?> Component Dictionary ?> Media
Component. You will see the contentPath property, the setMedia() method, and
the complete event. I don't see an onStatus event, but I believe there is an
onStatus event for the NetStream class.

So what are you trying to do?

Hi,
Thanks for the responces.
Here was my original question to that I got the above responce to:

"I am creating a CD ROM using Flash's Projector. Hopefully, we will be able
to fit an hours worth of flvs on it with the right compression.
I am creating various scenes for each flv. Next to it will be a graph
animation.
Can I use the same media component for all of the flvs with a different event
name, or should I create a different media component for each one?
I want the flv from one scene to stop working once we go to the next scene.
Nothing seemed to work except for the stopAllSounds(); script."
