It shouldn't make your swf file any bigger at all because your output
file is what matters..not the fla file size. Your output file can
compress the audio regardless if the source file is mp3 or wav. The
mp3 loop has always done the pause thing between loops.

I have a long presentation wich will load in several background loops.
Everytime I try and load in an external mp3 or attach an mp3 it does not loop
smoothly...there is always a slight studder or pause between the loops.
But whenver I use the .wav source file of these same mp3's the loop works fine
without a pause. I've read in several places that .wav files are better for
looping. The only problem is that this is making my file size WAY too big.

Does anyone know a trick to get my mp3 files to loop smoothly. I'd like for
this to happen when I load them in externally. If not, then how can I decrease
my .wav file size? The publish settings in Flash do not have an option for .wav
compression.

Thank you!
