Flash movie works when tested but not in html document

I have created a flash movie, when I test it throght Flash it works fine, but
when I embed it in an HTML document it stalls. I?m loading external swf's
through an XML file. I have a text box which displays how many of the external
swfs have been loaded. When I test the HTML file, the main swf says it is has
loaded 0 of the external swfs but when I double-click on the main swf itself it
says that it has loaded 8 of the 14 swfs, but it stops right there. What
gives? It works different in all three scenarios.
Again, when I test the movie in Flash, it works like it supposed to.
Any ideas.
BTW, I?m using MX Pro 2004
