flash (macromedia): I want an image to be zoomed in, and slowly zoom out to reveal the entire image.

I want to do this using halftones. As if you were looking at a TV up close
with the halftone patterns showing as it slowly zooms out, as if you were
moving away from the TV to view the entire image. Does anybody have any
examples of something like this? Or can anyone give a good explanation as to
how to do it?

well if filesize was no object I'd take in the image into photoshop,
increaese the spi and do a small half tone effect so it still looks
normal displayed at normal size, but looks half toned when zoomed in.
then just tween it in flash.
