flash (macromedia) : textinput

Ok if im making a form i should use the the textinput component right? ok lets
assume yes...then how come I cant apply a dynamic text setting or a multiline
wrap? And whats also weird is that If I use the reg text tool to make a
box..when I resize the box to make a bigger input field the type changes sizes
even though its set to lets say 10pt.. help pleeze:)

Okay,

What kind of dynamic text settings are you trying to apply to the input
textfield? Even when you select input text, you can still apply multiline,
multiline no wrap, etc.. in the property inspector.

As for resizing the textfield, don't use the free transform tool to make the
box bigger, instead.. select the text tool and click on your textfield, a small
square handle will appear in the corner (different corner depending on the type
of textfield), drag this to resize your textfield and the font size and
appearance won't change.

Ok here check this out www.zeroxposur.com/test if u click on contest button my
form pops up...Originally I wanted to use UI component textinput for those
boxes I think they look cleaner..But if Iplace it on the stage click the box I
cannot apply multiline to it..maybe my version is messed up?

From the Help Documentation... the 2nd sentence says it all.

Using the TextInput component
You can use a TextInput component wherever you need a single-line text field.
If you need a multiline text field, use the TextArea component. For example,
you could use a TextInput component as a password field in a form. You could
