flash (macromedia) : Compressing my movie/swf

I imported a movie into Macromedia and made it into a swf, how would I make it
smaller. its only 20 seconds and its hitting up 1MB...

well, that's the price you pay for music and video...
reduce their quality before import, that's the only way... you can't compress much if you
use large content to start with.
