Graphic not showing after Export -- flash (macromedia)

flash (macromedia) : Graphic not showing after Export

I have made a motion guide on the stage and have put a .png file in to move on
the guide. It all works fine while I'm in Flash but when I export or publish
it the graphic isn't in the movie at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I did convert the graphic to a symbol.
