flash (macromedia):
What am I missing?

I see the video fine (rtmp path using PlayStream) and the border I created in
the playback .swfFlash, but not the component skin?

I see the skin.swf is added to the same directory. Do they need to be linked?

Hello ntoskey,

The FLV PlayBack component has a ?skin? property. By default the ?skin?.swf
you are using should be in the same directory but if you specify custom skin
you should get to provide a path to the ?skin? . swf. None of the default
skins are named ?skin.swf? which means you may have created a custom skin for
your controls. You probably need to specify the path to your custom skin.

Also, if you are just playing the SWF stand alone you need to make sure the
Local File Security settings are not in conflict. If you are able to see the
video then you must have published a file with network only access. If your
skin is not on a server (and specified as a path to a sever), then it will not
be loaded because it violates the local file security sandbox.

Hope that helps,

-Ken
