flash (macromedia) : Need the Flash 7 Player

The search engine installed last year 'learns' as it goes (ie, the one
on the /support pages.. the main one at the top of all macromedia.com is
different...) This particular technote has definitely become hard to
find. An advanced search of "Flash" for "players" (and deselecting the
options to search devnet and customer service) bring it up as the 7th
listing.

Unfortunately the only way to 'teach' it is to have people hit the page.
There's no way for us to weight the pages so that they appear higher...

We just finished a product built using Flash MX 2004. It works flawlessly in
the Flash 7 player, but fails sporadically in the Flash 8 player. I purchased
Flash 8 to begin debugging the issue. The installation process replaced my
browser's Flash 7 player with the Flash 8 player. I cannot find the Flash 7
player at the Macromedia site anymore, not even under "More Players" section.
Can someone give me a hand please? I need to be able to test on Flash 7, then
Flash 8, then Flash 7, etc.

If all went well, you should still be able to find your Flash Player 7 in:

Yeah, I see that "Install Flash Player 7 AX.exe", but I actually need that plus
the the installer for windows mozilla based browsers to. We discovered that
the stand-alone Flash Player exe, the IE ActiveX player, and the Mozilla plugin
player all behave differently when movies load other swfs. I developed a
general load manager that normalized and even correct some of the loading bugs;
however, sadly the Flash 8 player behaves differently also. I need to
determine where its behavior is different. So, does anyone know why there is
no longer an archive of players. I REALLY REALLY need to get the Flash 7
plugin for Firefox installed again.
